It’s January and it’s time to hit the reset button.

With the holidays behind us, we can focus on getting back to making healthier choices. Let’s face it, as hard as we all try, making healthy choices when we’re in a hurry to get things done is hard. Really hard.

Why Meal Plan?

I’m a mom and a teacher so I plan my meals ahead of time to stay out of the drive-thru. Busy practice schedules and late nights leave few options for dinner when there’s not a lot of time.

Meal planning allows me to plan my meals based on our evening schedule. Sometimes that means I have something already put together that I just put in the oven or sometimes that means I have a meal cooking in the crock pot.
